Barska's SWAT-AR IR has been specifically designed for tactical rifles such as the popular AR-15 platform, and the compact size and low profile make the SWAT-AR a great addition to any flattop AR-15 rifle. Included with the SWAT-AR riflescope is a 30mm cantilever scope mount, which places the SWAT-AR just forward of the rifles charging handle. The 1-4x zoom of the SWAT-AR makes it ideal for close to mid-range targeting, and the illuminated Mil-Dot reticle gives the shooter an advantage in low light situations. The shooter is able to switch between a red or green reticle and adjust the brightness to find the optimal reticle for the environment. The fully multi-coated optics of this scope series aims to provide the shooter with a sharp, clear image with great contrast. It also comes nitrogen purged and o-ring sealed for complete waterproof and fogproof protection. Other features include a external locking windage and elevation turrets and an angled sniper edge sunshade. The external locking turrets allow the user to quickly make adjustments to the scopes windage and elevation settings, and then have the ability to lock them into place to prevent any unintentional movement. The angled sniper edged sunshade significantly reduces glare and provides the user with a clearer view. Flip-up scope caps and one CR2032 3V Lithuim battery are also included.
